Our body is constantly sending us messages in the form of sensations. We can learn to tune in to these body cues when they are subtle instead of waiting until there is pain. This practice of listening to our body as energy [sensations] speak, is the basis for this experience.
Using prop assisted poses to help move into areas of tension, tightness, and pain in the body, this facilitated yoga therapy (body psychology) class works with the imbalances and blockages of energy within the body. Following extended holding of poses with facilitated dialogue to invite you to stay in your body, integration is via a mini yoga Nidra. This energy-based experience recognizes that by moving into sensation, the body can be used as an access point to work with the visible effects of invisible causes.
